Adolescent therapy is a tailored psychotherapy approach that aims to understand the unique needs of teenagers and use evidence-based techniques to help them with their struggles, self-confidence and mental health concerns.

Lisa Liu 

Lisa is a counselling psychologist who works from a holistic perspective, understanding that emotional well-being is deeply connected to many aspects of a person’s life—their thoughts, relationships, experiences, and environment.

She has a particular interest in working with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, and depression. Her approach is tailored to each individual, drawing on a range of evidence-based therapies including:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

  • Psychoanalytic Therapy

This integrative framework allows her to meet clients where they are—whether they are looking to explore long-standing patterns, develop practical coping tools, or move through a specific life challenge.

Lisa has had the privilege of working with people across a range of cultures and age groups, in diverse settings such as hospitals, addiction centres, NGOs, and schools. These experiences have shaped a therapeutic style that is compassionate, culturally sensitive, and grounded in respect.

For those feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply seeking a space to reflect and heal, she offers a supportive and non-judgemental space. Her goal is to walk alongside each client at their own pace—helping them make sense of their experiences and explore what might support their journey forward.
